How we install a Samsung Frame TV
A Frame passes for a painting only when it sits flat against the wall and dead level. That makes it fussier than a regular TV, so we plan the install before we drill.
Flush and level
Samsung makes a slim mount for the Frame, and most sizes come with it in the box. We level the wall plate, then check the TV again once it's up. A flush mount has no arm to adjust later, so where the plate goes is where the picture ends up.
Art height or TV height
If it's mostly art, we hang it where you'd hang a painting, usually a few inches higher than a TV. If it's mostly for watching, the center of the screen goes at seated eye level.
The One Connect box
On models with a One Connect box, your devices plug into the box and one thin cable runs up to the TV. The box can sit on the console, behind the TV when the model and mount leave room, or in a recessed wall box you can still reach.
No visible wires
We can run the cables inside the wall. The power cord can't just be pushed into the drywall, so we use a code-compliant in-wall power kit. Tell us the model number and we'll check whether the One Connect cable can go in the wall too.
